Andrew was born in Durban, South Africa. He and his family moved to the U.S. when he was six years old. He soon started playing baseball and has been playing ever since. He played all 4 years at Annapolis High School, where he earned two varsity letters and was appointed captain his senior year. In his freshman season with the FTBC, he emerged as a reliable pitcher and the workhorse of the staff. Andy is currently second on the FTBC all-time innings pitched list.
