June 13th, 2019

In a season that saw the FTBC come up just short of their first-ever NCBA playoff bid, the team is ecstatic to announce the recognition of several players for their individual performances over the course of the season.

Senior Robby Rew, junior Alec Spooner, and freshman Dylan Kridner were all selected to the NCBA Division II All-American First Team. In addition, Rew and Spooner were voted by their teammates as co-MVPs for the season.

Rew put together yet another fantastic season in his final semester with the team, carrying a .513/.583/.974 line and collecting 22 RBIs. This is Robby's second First-Team All-American selection.

Spooner broke out at the plate in a big way, posting a .578/.608/.844 line, driving in 18. This is Alec's first All-American selection.

Kridner built on his fall MVP efforts with a stellar .600/.656/.620 line, swiping six bases and struck out an amazing zero times over his 60 plate appearances. Dylan also picked up two wins on the mound, posting a 3.86 ERA over 11.2 IP. This is Dylan's first All-American selection.
