The Florida Tech Baseball Club is proud to announce that Jose Dominguez and Sean Green have been selected by the NCBA as members of the NCBA South Atlantic All-Region Teams. Jose earned first-team honors as an outfielder, and Sean earned a third-team selection as a third baseman.

This marks Jose's third All-Region selection, as he previously made first-team in 2012 as a third baseman (also chosen as third-team All-NCBA for 2012), and third-team in 2011 as an outfielder. As the team's primary offensive force, Jose posted a .348/.483/.638 line (AVG/OBP/SLG), lead the team in hits (24), runs (21), 2B (6), HR (4), BB (17), and finished second in RBI (13).

Sean earned his first All-Region honors with a big season at the plate as well. He posted a .317/.450/.444 line, finished first on the team in RBI (16), second in hits (20), 2B (5), HR (1), BB (12), and had the best contact rate on the team, striking out only six times in 80 trips to the plate. Sean also got plunked four times, increasing his team-record career total to an outrageous 21 HBP (with 234 career plate appearances, he gets hit 9% of the time).

These selections bring the total number of times FTBC players have earned All-Region selections to eight. Chad Gestewitz (2011, 2012), Kevin Jefferson (2012), and Sven Luetticke (2012) are the other players who have earned the distinction.
