The Florida Tech Baseball Club is proud to welcome
Dave Chesny to the
FTBC Hall of Fame. With quite the resume, both on and off the field, Dave received 100% of the vote on his way to becoming the sixth Hall of Fame member in team history.
In his six seasons as a player with the Florida Tech Baseball Club, Chesny established himself as force to be reckoned with. Combining his skills on the mound with a work-horse mentality, he earned a reputation as both a steady arm and a big-game pitcher. Upon retiring from playing, Dave also served as pitching coach for the team. With a storied career under his belt, perhaps his biggest achievement came off the field: Dave earned a Ph.D. in Space Sciences in fall 2013, becoming the first member in team history to achieve such a feat.
Congratulations go out to Dave for his many accomplishments on the field and in the classroom/lab.
