FTBC Bids Farewell to Outgoing Seniors

With the close of the Spring 2015 season, the Florida Tech Baseball Club bids farewell to several graduating members, each with years of experience with the club.

Jose Dominguez finished up his storied 10-season career with a line of .377/.481/.584 (AVG/OBP/SLG), with 12 HR and 111 RBI. Jose earned selections to NCBA All-Region teams three times, and was chosen for the All-NCBA 3rd Team in 2012. He leaves the team as the career leader in nearly every offensive statistical category.

Ryan Haughey exits with nine seasons played, and one semester served as Treasurer of the FTBC. Career highlights include an outstanding first season, an impressive senior year at the plate, and hr lead the team in hits this spring.

Derek Maldonado, an always reliable presence on the field, was with the team for eight seasons, and finishes fifth in team history in wins (6) and innings pitched (110.1), and third in games played (107).

Andy Todd also played eight seasons with the FTBC, and spent two years at the helm as President of the club. A workhorse on the mound, no player has ever pitched in more games (51), and he stands as fourth in wins (7) and second in innings pitched (174).

Tyler Krause logged six seasons with the team, appearing in 61 games and serving as Treasurer for a year.

The FTBC wishes their graduating seniors the best of luck in their future endeavors, and thanks them for their contributions to the team over the years.
