With a 2-2 start to the fall Brevard County Baseball League under their belts, the Florida Tech Baseball Club is set to take on University of Central Florida for Homecoming 2014. The game is Thursday, Oct. 23rd, with first pitch scheduled for 9:00pm at Florida Tech's Andy Seminick - Les Hall Field.

The team's pitching has been the story of the season so far. Led by sophomore Eli Ginsburg (2.08 ERA, 13 IP, 14 K, 0.77 WHIP) and freshman Adam Madison (complete-game shutout, 10 K in his only appearance so far), the staff carries a combined 2.83 ERA, .204 opponent average, and 9.73 K/9 rate into the Homecoming break.

Though the bats have struggled to start the season, Sean Green came through with the first big offensive performance of the season on Sunday, leading the team to a 5-4 win in extra innings over the Mayhem Maniacs. Sean was 2-3 with two doubles and four RBI, including a three-run double in the first inning. Wes Sanders picked up the win in the game as he held off the Maniacs long enough for the FTBC to push across the game-winning run.
